Birthday Pictures!

I found the pictures from my last birthday! I though they were long-lost!
Kelly planned this whole amazing Birthday for me, and Dingo was so sweet and drove us. We met up with Hillary and went to dinner, and afterward we went to The Key Club to see Steel Panther, and the show was so hilarious, so much fun! I was so excited when I found out my pal Gavin was also there that night! We all ended up going on stage and Kelly and Gavin sang with the band, they are both such talented singers! And at the end, Joey Fatone came on stage too, my expression in that last photo really says it all in its shock and awe: BEST BIRTHDAY EVER!!! I felt really present and loved, and definitely blessed to have such wonderful friends in my life.

Pink Flamingo

I like pink when it's used in a silly or ironic way; phones, socks, underwear, sometimes sunglasses, but I usually don't like to wear it--these shorts proved me wrong, and had me frolicking in the flowers in no time flat. I love Isabel Marant anything, and I, like Steven Tyler, will buy anything with a lace-up crotch.

Americana

The weather has been beautiful in L.A., so I have been spending a lot of time outside drinking iced teas really trying to enjoy my life more, and spend less time working and stressing myself out--innovative idea don't you think? I've also been walking everywhere I can, which is fantastic due to all the barbeques that take place this time of year that smell so good, the wind is warm, and everything is blooming; as you can see my inner hippie is rejoicing in my new-found peace and love.

Going to California

I'm really excited to be co-hosting a StyleLikeU book event with the founders at TENOVERSIX Saturday in LA from 4-6, looking forward to meeting a lot of you there!

Also, there is finally a Facebook page for The Little Feather Band -here-! It's still under construction, but we've been in the studio non-stop and there is some good stuff on its way.

Westwood

We went to Westwood to visit some friends today, and with temperatures in the 80's it is really feeling like summer! I've been waking up to the trees blowing in the wind every morning and iced tea's on the patio (I can see myself really getting used to the new summer lovin' me)--and I even went record shopping and I haven't taken off my Chuck's in weeks; I think I'm subconsciously trying to recreate The Sandlot.
