Epic night out last night in Newtown. The Vines live at the Chapel was actually one of the coolest gigs I've ever been to. The venue was amazing, pre drinks sponsored by Russian Standard Vodka outside in the cemetery made for such a great atmosphere.
The band were awesome, they showed us exactly why they have been such an integral part of Australian music throughout the last decade. In classic Vines style, the songs were short, punchy and full of energy, getting everyone on their feet after the first song. My favourite songs of the night were He's Rocker, Get Free and Gimme Love from their new album Future Primitive which is out next month!
The party carried on afterwards at Star City and with the Russian Standard still flowing, the night got a little messy. Such a good night though, had so much fun hanging out with the gang from MCM Media and Scott's new best friend Craig Nicholls :)
