You might know that I have been embroidering this map for what seems like an age... You might not know that, too. I don't mind. I started making my map back in January and it's hanging on the wall of the shop waiting for me to get around to finishing it. I think it's a bit of an ode to the work in progress... I like it to hang unfinished, because I think that we all have stuff tucked away in various stages of completion. I think it's good to get the WIPs out of the closet. I will get there one day... and I am sure that you will get your things done too.
NOW. Here is another really super great Map Project (below). How great is it?! It might be a bit quicker than my embroidered idea. It might even be cuter. Yep. I think it would be fabulous on a large scale, hanging on the living room wall. What do you think? You can find the full how-to at Crate DIY. Excellent, methinks!
